Tasks/ Research Area:

I am a postdoctoral researcher within the cluster of excellence 'The Future Ocean'. My research focus is the numerical analysis of stochastic differential equations, particularly, stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs). I develop and analyze numerical methods for this class of equations and I am especially concerned with higher order schemes that are free of derivatives.

Moreover, I investigate sources of uncertainty in ocean models. To be more precise, I analyze the modeling of different processes in the ocean with stochastic and random PDEs.
